• Many transcribers have helped, spending thousands of hours entering the data.
• The Baltimore City index has 1,577,175 records. Many certificates were hard to read.
• One of our transcribers is a medical record transcriber who can decipher a doctor’s handwriting.
• We have 21 records with partial data that could not be read.
• Our transcribers are reviewing and adding additional information to our database.
• Also, 100% of all deaths in Maryland counties from 1969 to 2014.
• After we finish the review, we will index the death records for Maryland counties from 1898 to 1968.
• There are 2,907,107 records in the database.
